eDoctor Africa, a healthcare company, hired SpellSystems to develop a bespoke software platform for delivering SaaS telehealth and telemedicine services. The platform allows video calls, audio calls, chat, and SMS as modes of care and communication, and includes patient electronic medical records, practitioner scheduling, financial reporting, and integration with payment gateways. The project was delivered using SCRUM methodology and the platform is currently active, providing telemedicine services.
