Rootstrap recently completed a project for a mobile-first platform for independent video journalists. The company hired Rootstrap for web and mobile app development. The team evaluated the existing designs, provided technology recommendations, and began building the website from scratch using React and the mobile app using React Native. They also handled QA, testing, and DevOps work. The quality of Rootstrap's work was good overall, and the team's skills were exactly what was expected. While they met deadlines, the project ended up going over budget due to design changes, but the team was flexible and willing to help reduce costs, working with the client as a partner instead of an outsourcer.

Another project Rootstrap completed was the UI/UX design and MVP development for an email strategy automation tool. The company needed help developing their MVP from scratch, and Rootstrap was involved in scoping the project, refining the MVP scope, designing the UI/UX, and developing the front- and backend of the product. The team used Figma for the UI/UX designs and developed the MVP using Django, JavaScript, Node.js, and Heroku. The resulting MVP was intuitive and sleek, with user demos going very well. Rootstrap was great at managing the entire process, keeping the MVP within budget, and meeting deadlines. The partnership element Rootstrap brought to the table was impressive, and the company worked seamlessly between design and development teams to create features in the easiest and cheapest way possible while still providing a great user experience.

Finally, Rootstrap provided UX design for a web development studio serving multiple industries, most prominently education. The company needed the UX design of hundreds of webpages for a major upgrade to an enterprise website, as well as innovative new website features and email campaigns. Rootstrap augmented the company's existing UX/UI web design team with as many as 6 additional UX/UI designers at a given time to perform the UX/UI of the webpages. The resulting increases in website performance for customer conversions ranged from 25% to 40%, much better than the client forecast. Rootstrap consistently met innumerable deadlines for new webpages and was effective at delivering high-quality design work on time. They were self-managing and often had excellent creative ideas that were adopted by the client. The team's concern for the satisfaction of the client was impressive.
