Highlights from Recent Projects
The first project completed by NIFTIT was a SharePoint implementation for a B2B food flavoring company. The project was aimed at getting a company intranet set up as an easy way for all employees to see company-wide communications, and share news and communications with employees who do not have email addresses. NIFTIT developed a full end-to-end HR onboarding workflow, provided support and maintenance, and created an intuitive and user-friendly experience. The project lasted from February 2018 to March 2019, and the client invested $30,000 for each phase.
NIFTIT's second project involved staff augmentation for a research and advocacy nonprofit. The organization, dedicated to women’s reproductive health, sought support to accelerate their digital transformation project. NIFTIT helped create a staff portal, provided training and support, and assisted with migrating to Exchange Online and Office 365. This engagement began in October 2014 and continues to provide support. The organization reported that NIFTIT was instrumental in implementing Microsoft Teams, which improved staff communication and was more efficient than email for back-and-forth communications.
The third project completed by NIFTIT involved web development and intranet support for a health nonprofit. The organization, Camarena Health, needed a better way to communicate with staff and wanted to use SharePoint for document management. NIFTIT provided front-end SharePoint 2019 development, created a marketplace app, and designed a specific COVID-19 page to keep employees informed. The new intranet, called iConnect, significantly increased communication with staff and has been well-received. NIFTIT's project management was well organized, and their ability to turn the client's vision into a reality was particularly impressive. The organization's only suggestion for improvement was to provide quicker responses, particularly for low importance items.
