FRSecure

The first project involved providing cybersecurity consultation services for a high school district in Park Ridge, Illinois. The district's CTO was looking to establish a more robust cybersecurity program and engaged FRSecure to provide high-level advice and recommendations. FRSecure served as a virtual chief information security officer (vCISO) for the district, providing foundational documents such as policy templates, disaster recovery plans, business continuity plans, and business impact analysis templates. The CTO was impressed by FRSecure's integrity, expertise, and commitment to the mission, and found their management skills to be outstanding.

In the second project, FRSecure conducted penetration testing for a professional services company providing financial services to clients in the architecture, engineering, and construction industries. FRSecure's thorough penetration testing report was highly valuable and actionable, with clear steps for the client's technical team to reproduce the findings. The project was completed within the targeted deadline and budget, and the client was impressed by FRSecure's cost-effectiveness, transparency, and commercial practices.

The third project involved providing cybersecurity services to an education technology company, focusing on conducting a ransomware review for three school districts. FRSecure delivered individual reports for each district with an overall executive summary, highlighting areas for growth that may apply to schools as a whole. The company was responsive and impressed by FRSecure's thorough explanations, which helped them make effective improvements. While they found it difficult to identify areas for improvement, they suggested that offering more forms of help with areas would be ideal, although it may not fit the K-12 mentality.
