Atomic Object

Atomic Object completed a project for Northern Initiatives, a Michigan nonprofit community development financial institution. They created an online platform called Initiate in 2017, which contained resources about starting a business, money, marketing, and management. Atomic Object developed the new online platform using TypeScript, Next.js, PostgreSQL, Auth0, and Contentful. The team conducted additional research and interviews with advisors and business owners to confirm their work. The new platform will facilitate a blended learning process and help build the capacity of other nonprofits, mission lenders, and organizations supporting entrepreneurs.

Another project completed by Atomic Object was a mobile app development and UX/UI design for 86 Repairs, a repair and maintenance management platform for the restaurant industry. The team developed a mobile app for customers using Expo Go with a React Native framework. The app was launched successfully and has been adopted strongly by the end users. Atomic Object's project management was effective, and the team brought a broad range of skills to the table, becoming a part of the client's team quickly.

Atomic Object also completed a website design and development project for a mortgage company. The company wanted to rebuild their customer-facing website to make it more user-friendly and modern. The website functionalities include the ability for users to get direct interest rates, register accounts, and submit applications online. The website works well and Atomic Object's work added a lot of automation to make the company's processes faster. The project was delivered on time and within budget, and the communication and goals were clearly laid out for a successful project.
